Comment1. While collecting any data, I think it is important to know what you are trying to target and understand the trends of your analysis. Make sure the trends or patterens make sense according to your topic and then apply them. Holm-Hansen (2008) also suggests, the most ideal time to start thinking about your analysis plan is when you are first developing your key evaluation questions and determining how you will gather the needed information. It is also important to not get inundated with the statistics.

While qualitative data can be described as voluminous and labor intensive to the researcher, the goal, according to Grand Canyon University (2012), is to gain insight by reporting, hypothesizing, and interpreting the information to improve nursing care. In order to manage and organize the data, a researcher should develop an outline based on the information attained. This process will help the researcher determine the major sections of the paper and focus on the main idea (Grove, Gray, and Burns, 2015). To prevent data overload and decrease labor intensity, a researcher can restrict the data to a definitive period of time and then create an outline. The researcher can also minimize the search by periodically reviewing the research material and maintaining the focus of the research. The problem statement will help the researcher. Limiting the references to current articles while utilizing peer reviewed articles will help keep the material relevant and objective.
