Main Task: Design an Early Childhood Education Website
For this Signature Activity, you have reflected on foundations of early childhood education. For this task, reflect on what you have learned throughout the class by creating a website designed for parents and colleagues. Incorporate the following information and elements into the website:
• Current trends in early childhood education, historical roots, brain research, societal approaches and viewpoints, instructional techniques and strategies, learning theories, and family, community, and cultural values.
• Hyperlinks, e-mail hyperlinks, and a consistent navigation scheme.
• Utilize appropriate style, theme, and use of color; add images, and create and add a bulleted list/numbered list.
3. Main Task Part 2: Reflection
For this final task, write a reflective paper on the experience of creating a website, including in your paper the URL of your website. Present some thoughts as to why your website would be useful to your colleagues at your school and parents, your experience with the designing of your website, the application/method you used to design your site, and your location and method of uploading it to the web.
