Thread: The world powers divided Vietnam (17th Parallel) with a drawn border in a manner similar to Korea (38th Parallel). Did outside powers actually recognize the political/cultural and historical borders this course has surveyed? If so, how did they do so, and if they did not recognize more historical or natural borders, why not?
