Task 1: Develop a Project Management Plan
Details of task: Choose a project from your organization or your private
life. Implement the proper tools and techniques covered in this course
to develop a detailed project plan. Sections to be included in this plan
are listed in the description of Assignment 1.2.
This assignment has two components: (1) A1.1: Project Selection and
Description and (2) A1.2: Complete Project Plan. Detailed requirements
and the marking criteria for each of them are provided below.
A1.1: Project Selection and Description
For A1.1, you are required to submit a short report that provides the
following information:
1. Introduction (project background) (e.g., the funding organization,
the business environment and/or external environment and other related
background info)
2. Project description
2.1 Project outputs (with clear specifications)
2.2 Project governance model
2.3 Critical assumptions about this project
Purpose Implement tools and techniques that are relevant during project
planning
