I’m writing my final and I need to write an argumentative essay regarding any piece of literature of my choosing. I decided to choose the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, but I am struggling to determine if the topic I chose could really be considered “argumentative.”
The topic is something along the lines of Collins using the Hunger Games to symbolize social issues in our country like big brother government watching everything, violence towards children being the actual Hunger Games, and the extreme poverty mixed with starvation across the United States and across the world.
If someone could help me determine if this truly is argumentative, or if there is a way you would change the topic to more reflect an argument, I am all ears!
