Edmundson’s “On the Uses of a Liberal Education : http://www.ljhammond.com/essay.htm
Gerald Graff’s “Other Voices, Other Rooms” : http://www.american.edu/cas/literature/news/upload/wpe-reading-packet-march-2013.pdf
Hello, These two articles have to be read in order to complete this paper. I am writing an ANALYSIS PAPER.
Assignment: “Does Graff’s argument serve to support, refute, or otherwise complicate the argument presented by Edmundson?
And I wrote a thesis statement, “Despite their different approaches, Graff serves to support Edmundson’s ideas of students choosing their professors by stating the reasons why the students had to choose professors.” but you can change them if you find an idea from Graff that refutes or confuses Edmundson’s idea. Otherwise, please follow this thesis statement.
These are very important things that we have to follow: number 6 is most important!!!!
1. If you want to change my thesis statement because you can think differently from what I think, but please make it clear and specific like I wrote. (remember that thesis is only one sentece, length doesnt matter as long as it is clear and easy).
2. Please DO NOT write an introduction and a conclusion. I only need a two BODY PARAGRAPHS that support my thesis statement.
3. When you write a paragraph, please write a very clear and easy topic sentence, for example: Graff supports Edmundson’s idea that blah blah…
4. When you write, please use baby expressions and words and sentences like 10 year old kids wrote (Imagine when you were 10 year old)
5. Please dont write “instruction’s name” “your name” “Date” that wastes the space. Just start the paper from the beginning. I want two paragraphs (and a revised thesis statement if needed) that fit between 1 and a half pages to 2.
6. This is very important: When you write something please use quote from the text from Edmundson and how Graff supports this idea and also bring Graff’s quote too that supports the idea of Edmundson. For example: Throughout his text, Edmundson states “QUOTEQUOTEQUOTE” and this is clearly supported by Graff’s argument that says “QUOTEQUOTEQUOTEQUOTE.”
I have been requesting the analysis papers many times and unfortunately I got D on every paper the writer wrote for me because they didnt even know what the analysis paper is. When you write something, you have to use evidence from the text, which is QUOTE from the writer, not a SUMMARY, and how the other writer supports this idea and also put quote from the other writer.
