Calculations in your field (MY field of Nursing):
Data collected is not obtained only for the purposes of inputing into a database or keeping in a patient’s records. In fact, most data must be analyzed using operations or calculations. Data is also put into graphs to visually determine relationships and monitor changes over time. Often the data is collected in an experiment (such as a treatment) so it must be statistically manipulated. Being familiar with conversions is especially important to obtain quality and accurate results.
Please post information as to how you will be using calculations in your work. Include information about significant figures for the resulting numbers from calculations. Write a word problem that you may typically be asked to solve in your job. Do not provide the solution to the problem within text (put it at bottom bellow the references for my reference).
