The Texas legislative session has approximately 60 days left and thus information on the next biennium budget is beginning to surface. For this discussion, you are to research the Texas Senate budget and discuss any concerns that you might have over the budget. Include in your discussion, if you think that the senate budget plan is good for Texas or not making sure to justify your response.
NOTE: Recently the Speaker of the Texas House, Joe Strauss criticized the senate budget and the plan to delay the payment of 2.5 billion that is owed to the transportation department for projects, diverting that money owed to the next budget cycle which will begin in the fall of 2019.
