Write a short essay of about 1,000 words assessing your learning progress so far in the Diplomacy program. This essay should be based entirely upon reflection – no additional research is required or encouraged.
Among the things you should consider addressing in your essay are:
how your approaches to independent work and self monitoring may have evolved over the past year;
whether your ability to organize information collected during research and to present your conclusions clearly has improved – and if so then why; and
whether there have been any changes in how you approach interactions with your classmates and professors on academic issues – particularly regarding issues that may be contentious.
Two other things you might want to consider are:
whether your facility at integrating and applying different concepts has evolved since you started the program, and
whether you look at media coverage of current events differently than when you started the program.
