Congratulations…. your brand has become a great success!
For this week’s assignment, you will be creating a magazine layout /magazine cover that features your brand. You will, of course, want to select an appropriate publication for your target customer and then start creating!
In our Required Resources folder this week there are several helpful tutorials and videos to guide you through this, including the best ways to crop and “manipulate” photos. I, personally, like the Publisher software but if you do not have access to this, Microsoft Word works well, too! (Go to the “Create Your Magazine Layout” folder in Required resources for several suggestions.) Here are a few important guidelines for this assignment:
1. You must view the film “Advertising Layout” in Required Resources before beginning this assignment as this will explain the importance of the use of headlines, different types, “white space” illustrations, body copy, and more. You will be graded on your correct use of these important tools.
2. If you choose to create a magazine page layout, please be sure to disclose which magazine will be featuring this page. Please do not make up a magazine name but use an existing publication that is relevant to your brand and product.
3. If you choose to create a magazine cover, be sure that all print on the cover relates to your brand and product and that there are, in fact, several headlines in addition to the cover illustration and magazine name. Again, please do not make up a magazine name but use an existing publication that is relevant to your brand and product.

Once completed, please take a screen shot (see Course Information for how to do this) and submit the file to the link you will find when you click on “Week 11 GHA” above.
