Food product development workbook

 

 

Rationale
This assessment provides students with a simulated real world experience of working in a research and development team in the creation for a new food product. The workbook will be a valuable tool in documenting individual contribution to the group project.
Task
The individual workbook outlines your contribution and involvement in aspects of the product development process. This record needs to be maintained each week. The workbook should resemble an industry product file and include progress made detailing information and material sourcing, references, product specifications, rough calculations, industry contacts and expected outcomes.
An A4 Hardcover book is recommended.
Criteria
Marking criteria
The workbook will be assessed based on the comprehensiveness of the records maintained. Each entry needs to be dated, and signed off.
