How will the German Energy Transition (Energiewende) affect the competitiveness of the German industry?

I am not sure how many sources exactly. As it is a full dissertation I\’m sure there will be a few. I will attach some attempts I made starting this dissertation. However they are not near to be good. Just some points for you to understand in which direction I want to go. It will be an economics paper, where I will focus on prices of energy and other factors that could affect the competitiveness of the German industry. It would be good to make relevant and good comparisons to countries like USA (shale gas), France and the UK maybe. Attached I have some information that i have put together as a rough draft and information papers. I would like to address how the nuclear phase out will hurt Germany economically and highlight the renewable energy transition as a main factor throughout the dissertation. The last attachment is the Handbook from my university.
