1. ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION
1. You have observed a high-fidelity simulation in action and have been exposed to a variety of educational technical innovations. After your observation, you will create a brief summary of your experience as a portion of your Movenote Presentation Assignment. You will then justify using the three(3) innovative technologies two (2) of the technology challenges (glogster and animoto) and your simulation experience) to promote leaning and critical thinking in your organization.
At the beginning of this course, you were appointed to investigate the use of technology for enhancing learning in your organization (academic or clinical). For this assignment, you will present your findings to the administrative team. Your presentation is focused on justifying the use of High Fidelity Simulation, plus two (2) other technological innovations in nursing education(Glogster and animoto ). Your professional presentation should remain between seven (7) and ten (10) minutes long.

Overview of Assignment
Develop a Power Point presentation, identifying and justifying the use of three (3) NEW and creative educational technologies, which includes your High-fidelity simulation observation, Glogster and Animoto) that will enhance the classroom in your specific organization setting (academic or clinical setting).
• Be sure to keep it interesting with use of color and graphics and avoid over use of words. Your narration explains, rather than the words on the slide.
The presentation is recorded in the Movenote Room and includes both audio and video components.
In compliance with ADA requirements, you will also submit a complete an accurate transcript of the audio portion of the presentation in a Word .doc(x) file. For more information on ADA requirements and accessibility, visit uiAccess’s Transcripts on the Web site. You will need a webcam and microphone to record a video of yourself speaking, as well as the audio. Your recording will show both your webcam video and your presentation slides at the same time, while your voice is recording.
The presentation is professional in appearance and tone and reflects thoughtful and meaningful application of technology in the classroom (online or face-to-face within either the academic setting or the clinical setting).

Movenote Presentation Assignment Instructions
You may use PowerPoint for your slide background during your presentation. There is not a requirement for a specific number of slides; the recorded presentation should be between seven and ten (7–10) minutes in duration. You must include a minimum of four (4) different scholarly works, with at least one reference outside of nursing, supporting your claims in the presentation.
2. Introduction
a. Provide an opening introduction with name of presentation and presenter with full credentials.
b. Describe the organizational setting, the target learners, and the principal stakeholders in the organization in which the technical educational innovations will take place.
3. Overview
a. Provide an overview of the use of technology to enhance learning in the 21st century.
b. Explain why innovative technologies are necessary to enhance educational approaches for populations, diverse stakeholders, and the Interprofessional team.
c. Provide credible evidence that support your claims (Graded in Integration of Evidence and Theory section of the grading rubric).

d. Justify why this technology is relevant for the population and setting, addressing their healthcare practices, cultural, economic, and social and policy needs.
e. Support your explanations with current evidence (Graded in Integration of Evidence and Theory section of the grading rubric).
7. Conclusion and Reflection
