Choose a new product/service brand that has been launched in the US market recently (within two years from now). Research as much as possible about the strategy behind and the actual communication activities implemented by the company for the product/service launching program. You need to use proper APA or MLA citation rules. You are required to cite the text & include five outside scholarly sources. Scholarly sources are typically found in journal articles or .org/.gov (not .com websites).
Prepare a written report to submit to the Blackboard on the due date using Microsoft Word, which should cover these areas :
– Introduction to the company and the product/service brand in question
– Brief description of the product/service brand (utility, characteristics,…)
– Brief synthesis of the competition and market (main competitors, their strengths and weaknesses, consumer’s taste and preference…)
– Strategic marketing choices for the product/service: target market and market positioning
– Brand concept of the product/service
– Marketing communication activities that have been implemented for the launching campaign
+ what are these ?
+ how are they conducted : respective decisions on message, media, timing
– Evaluation of the effectiveness of this marketing campaign and recommendations if any.
This assignment will be assessed by the quality and not by the length and students are expected to demonstrate a creative, logical and critical thinking approach.
