The 14th century witnessed the disintegration of the medieval world as a result of a series of crises. Among them were economic and demographic difficulties, but also the arrival of the Black Death, the Hundred Years’ War, and the Babylonian Captivity of the Papacy, followed by a schism in the church and a series of popular revolts in France and England.
In your initial post, discuss which of these crises you think was the most disruptive and why. Which had the greatest influence on the development of the Renaissance? Include at least one additional resource other than the textbook in your post. Your post should be about 250 words.
