You are required to write an essay of no more than 2000 words. You should include an annotated bibliography of not less than 10 sources. Endeavor to use up-to-date sources as our understanding of history has changed over time. The essay should be an original work written specifically for this course. This task forms a major component of your mark and therefore requires a degree of care, thought, effort and preparation.
Essay must be wordprocessed (double-spaced). Your essay should be fully referenced, including footnotes (Chicago 16a) and a bibliography. You must read the material on plagiarism carefully: any essays found with evidence of plagiarism will face disciplinary action.
