“Please describe your past academic experiences and your reasons for wishing to enroll to Maryland at this point in your academic career. Students who have been out of school for several years, or who have a personal circumstance that affected performance, may wish to address that situation in their essay. Your essay should be no more than 300 words.”I am a first year student at a University. My grades during my high school career were good up until Junior year because I took 6 AP courses and 3 AP courses my senior year leading to a rigorous schedule. Some other factors include being an athlete (swimming), and participating in lots of other extra curricular activities. My first semester grades in college aren’t so good either. Averaging b’s and c’s. If you could assist this information in the essay and make me sound the best as it can, that would be very helpful.
