Write an essay choosing an area of intervention from within the Public Health Arena; for example, healthy eating, Smoking, Diabetic care, Mental Health and identify one policy which underpins your chosen intervention. Use Beatties model of health promotion to critically analyse your chosen intervention ensuring you use all four segments of the model. (Discuss strengths and limitations of approaches for your chosen intervention.) Discuss evaluation that has been used to gauge the effectiveness of your chosen intervention. Make sure you include health inequalities and how they are tackled using both UK and international policies.
