Narrative Form

Paper should include a film and or films used to illustrate the chapter ( Narrative Form ) ( http://highered.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/0073535060/student_view0/chapter3/learning_objectives.html ) and readings. These paper should include critical comments, a short discussion and/or critique of some interesting points; a contentious point and/or an argument interacting with the assigned readings. References should be in-text citations and endnotes or reference cited page. Do not summarize the readings or chapter. One objective of the paper is to encourage you to engage both critically and move beyond your personal or gut reactions and to come prepared for class discussions. Another objective is to demonstrate that you understand the chapter in the context of specific film/s. This means that if you write over a film to illustrate the chapter you will need to view it ahead of time.
