(Business and Society) A job can be right or wrong for you depending on what sort of person you are.

This assignment requires students to examine common assumptions about the nature of work and to link these to the nature of business and society. The assessment task will be structured to require an examination of the ethical nature of the assumptions which underpin our conceptions of work, business and society. This will assist students to recognise social justice issues, potential social and economic impacts, the political decision-making process and the importance of community, all of which are aspects of social responsibility.
The questions have been chosen so that students will have to identify values and to demonstrate an awareness of their own culture and its perspectives and other cultures and their perspectives.
