Teaching Students with Diverse Abilities

 

Students in your class may bring with them a diagnosis that is useful as you plan and implement your teaching program. Some examples are listed in the shaded box below. Select one category from Group A, or Grupo B and one category from Group B.
Research, identify, and document your findings regarding your selections in order to demonstrate an understanding of:
commonly associated characteristics and traits; the impact that the student?s needs may have on his/her learning; strategies and adjustments that may prove effective and appropriate within a regular classroom.

Mental health conditions (e.g. depression, anxiety, Tourette?s syndrome,
